Mrs. Kleber: 3rd Grade

After graduating in 1974 from Rider College in Lawrenceville, NJ, I became a teacher in my home town in New Jersey. After four years, I got married and moved to Virginia Beach, VA, and taught in the city of Norfolk, Va. In 1981 my husband's job brought us back to the Northeast, and we settled in Fairfield, CT where we raised our son Matthew who is now a Senior at Boston College. I have been teaching in Stratford since 1986, and have always been at Lordship School. My Master's Degree was earned at Fairfield University, and I have just completed my Sixth Year. My teaching experience has been in Grades 2,3,4,5,7, and 8. I love reading to my students, and through my animation, I believe I instill a love for books in children which gives them a sense of the adventure they could have while reading. It is my belief that children should be taught responsibility at an early age, because if they are responsible people, they in turn will become successful, and it is that success that will make them happy individuals throughout their lives.
